  • Tennessee Driver’s License Holders: $98.50, regardless of residency status.

Requirements for Obtaining a Marriage License in Sevier County

  • No blood tests or residency requirements.
  • Both parties must be present at the County Clerk’s Marriage License Center.
  • Proof of age required: Valid driver’s license, state-issued ID, passport, or certified birth certificate.
  • Previous Marriages: Provide the exact date of divorce or death of a previous spouse.
  • Minors (Under 18): Parental or legal guardian signatures required.
  • Fees: Cash only (exact amount). Starting November 1st, Visa and Mastercard will be accepted.
  • License Validity: A Tennessee marriage license is valid for 30 days from the date of issue and can be used anywhere in the state.
